Dispatcher

From vaccines and rare medicines to medical devices, MEDISTA is always on the move, literally. We are looking for the right experienced dispatcher to join our team. Proud of your profession, you will have good communication and problem-solving skills. Your role will be mission-critical in our highly skilled logistics team since you will be in direct contact with our drivers, who transport medical supplies around the world. Regardless of the consignment or destination, it is up to them (and therefore you) to make sure our shipments arrive at their destinations safe and sound.

Your Role

  • You will optimize available resources (our own drivers and trucks or external ones) to ensure that all deliveries arrive on time and in good order.
  • You will organize and coordinate daily transportation schedules to guarantee the department runs efficiently.
  • You will brief all drivers of their specified schedules to ensure that all deliveries take place correctly and on time in a cost-efficient and high-quality manner.
  • You will check that transportation and customs documents are in order according to local legislation.
  • You will manage internal logistics systems to provide the entire organization with accurate, up-to-date information.
  • You will help solve day-to-day issues on the driver side efficiently and effectively.
  • You will maintain customer contact when needed to offer an optimal service.

Your Background

  • You excel in the world of transportation and logistics.
  • You have organizational talent and can always find a solution.
  • You communicate fluently with drivers, customers and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of English is a definite plus.
  • Scheduling and planning experience is definitely an asset.
  • Knowledge of MS Office is required.
